Outside the Train Window
Outside the train window, clouds fly by;
Birds soar,
The metal roars;
And colours move swiftly up in the sky.
As we stop at a station, I see people run;
They jump on the train,
Avoiding the rain;
A man lost his ticket, he's not having fun.
I see some tall buildings and many busy roads;
Children are crying;
Litter is flying,
And an old man is struggling with a heavy load.
We're here at my stop; I can tell by the bright
lights,
I miss the view.
I think I know what to do;
Do you reckon I should stay on? I think I just might!
