I remember going on the train on the first day of high school. I was sitting next to my three best friends Down, Emma and Nicola (Nicky). Charlotte also was sitting in front of us with her big sister, Lauren.

Charlotte made her big sister sit next to her because Charlotte was scared of getting lost when we got to Patterton. I remember at the train station seeing all the people in my primary class in their new school uniform. It was very strange seeing the new Eastwood School unif orm because I was used to seeing a block and yellow Neilston Primary school uniform.

We all waited for the ten minutes past eight train to come in. We all started talking about how Down and I had the same skirt ? this was a really boring subject to talk about but we were all excited and didn't know what else to say. Eventually the train came and ended Charlotte's conversation about where her big sister got her blazer. We stepped on to the train and Down closed the doors by pressing a button and Nicky got caught in the doors and so we had to press the'open' button so she could get on. We couldn't stop laughing after that. We were all staring out the window while we talked and eventually we were there.
