Neilston Station

The 100th Birthday of Neilston Station: I tried to imagine what the station would have been like 100 years ago. I imagine it wasn't much different from what it's like today: old fashioned, the paint on the bridge is peeling and the walls are falling apart, but it's still part of our history. 1 hate when people come in and try to modernise everything; "Fixing" it they call it, but there's nothing wrong with it, as long as the trains can pass in and out again. Why does it need "Fixed"? ? it's not broken!

The actual train ride may be bumpy but if you look out the windows it's truly beautiful, with all the fields and meadows, trickling streams, farm animals and once in a while you'll be able to see rare animals. It's great ? 1 wish 1 could stay on forever, well at least until lunch time.
