BARRHEAD-SCOTLAND.COM is a community web site that has been funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Before registering for use of services, please take a moment to read the following.

The Terms of Service will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions or your actual country and place of residence. Whilst we make every effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, the information cannot be relied upon as legal, business, tax or professional advice and no warranty is given as to the reliability of the content.
Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify, revise, amend, replace or delete these statements at any time without first notifying you.

1. Your account:

You agree that services such as forums, content management and electronic notice boards are provided to registered users exclusively under these Terms of Service. By completing the registration process and clicking the "I accept" button, you are stating that you have read and understand the Terms of Service, that you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service in effect and as updated by Barrhead-Scotland.com from time to time. This page will contain the current version of the Terms of Service.

Barrhead-Scotland.com may modify or discontinue its services or any User's account with or without notice to any User, without liability to any User or any third party. We Reserve the Right to TERMINATE any user's account and use of the forums and content management system, if we learn that such a user has used the service to display material that is unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable in any manner or nature or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.

We also reserve the right to terminate an individual's account if it is proves that they have provided Barrhead-Scotland.com with false or misleading registration information or have violated these Terms of Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account number and/or password. You are responsible for all uses of your account, whether or not authorized by you. You agree to immediately notify Barrhead-Scotland.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

You further agree not to use the forums to post any message or material that is unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable in any manner or nature or that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation.

You agree to use forums only to send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular forum topic. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using a forum, you will not do any of the following:

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others;

You acknowledge that all forum postings are public and not private communications.

We reserve the right for any reason to remove without notice any forum posting, but has no obligation to delete content that you may find objectionable or offensive.
