wishing to set up in business.
Past Successes
- Twenty-year old Victoria Connolly received a loan of £3500 to harness her
childcare skills in transforming the local youth club into a nursery.
- Skateboarders, David Currie, 24, and Sean Hanratty, 27, became a PSYBT success
story after they set up Urban Rage Clothing, selling skateboarding gear, hip
hop and 'alternative' clothing.
- With the Trust's financial support of a £3000 grant, nineteen-year old David
George turned successful entrepreneur when his software program sold in 37
countries, bringing a £250,000 profit to his business.
- The Trust, together with BT Scotland, gave 20-year old Tom Toremar a £1000
grant to help him set up his friendsfaraway.com website, which gave him a
projected £2 million turnover and a membership of over 60,000.
