Archives & Resources:

Portal to the Past is a new and exciting history & heritage website. It allows you, the user, to explore 1000s of items such as old maps, photographs, documents, statues, paintings, ephemera and other information; giving a taste of daily life in the past, that are held in the various Heritage collections of East Renfrewshire Council.

Access to all this material is made easy, through internet access and includes a powerful set of online tools for searching the content.

Every item has been carefully and meticuosly tagged with detailed information such as Dates, time periods, related names and related subjects to make it easy for you to find what your looking for and to locate similar content items.
