Paton It used to be in our case it was a person that laid the McGill's buses on. We all just jumped on the buses and it was always Seamill because it was a great shore, nice and clean at all times plus there was a wee town just further up the road and ye could walk up tae there. There was some body in the area who ran the bus runs for kids, the poorer weans.
Other than that we used to go tae the Pavillion myself. Danny Kaye, Johnny Ray. I used tae go tae the Paisley dancing, but there used tae be a lot of trouble in Paisley Town Hall. They didnae take tae Barrhead people, as soon as ye mentioned ye were Barrhead, ye used to run for the bus and hope ye got it. We went tae the dancing, but we weren't intae stealing their girlfriends cause they were worse looking some of them.
